Here is a summary of our church services:
Sunday morning service. Our Sunday service at 10am each week is relaxed and friendly with ordinary people of all ages coming together to worship God, learn more about living as Jesus taught and enjoy being with one another. The service lasts about 90 minutes and includes teaching, testimony and worship led by a band combining a mix of traditional hymns and more contemporary worship songs. Afterwards there is time and space for you to catch up and meet new people over a cup of coffee or tea. There is also an opportunity to pray with someone if you have a specific concern or just need some encouragement. Please see our Sunday mornings page for more details.
Sunday@3. For those who appreciate hymns old and new with a gentle pace. It takes place at 3pm every 3rd Sunday of the month, lasts about 45 minutes and is followed by tea and cakes. Transport is also available if needed.
Sunday evening Encounter service. This service takes place every Sunday from 6.30pm and lasts around an hour. The vision is to create space for people to encounter God by the power of the Holy Spirit. The service usually consists of half an hour of contemporary worship, a short talk and an extended time of response and ministry. We celebrate communion on the second Sunday of each month. After the service we run Encounter after-hours, a social time for ages 11-18 years.
Wednesday morning communion. Each Wednesday at 10.30am a short traditional communion service is held in our church hall to which all are welcome.
