Book Club 

HT Book Club meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, at 7.15pm in The Old Mission Hall.  At present we are a group of ladies who love to meet together to share our journey of faith, reading a wide variety of Christian literature to encourage/strengthen/grow and support our walk with God. 

Sometimes we all read our own choice of book, coming together to share from those books; and on other occasions we all read the same book, sharing from different perspectives.  Books are chosen by the group, well in advance and with a planned discussion time, but we are very relaxed and there is never homework reading to do. It is all about the fellowship of the group around the books.

Each meeting starts with refreshments (sometimes cake!) and a time of sharing & fellowship.  Every meeting begins and ends in prayer and we always have a dedicated time of specific prayer at the end of the meeting.

Once or twice a year we go on a day retreat together and we also enjoy a winter and summer social where we have a little more time to share out lives and our walk with Jesus.
