Hello and welcome to Holy Trinity Tewkesbury Youth.  Here at HTT we long to see God’s Kingdom extended and pray for an outpouring of His Holy Spirit upon all young people.  We welcome you to come and find out more.

We aim to help our Young People to:

Grow deeper in a relationship with Jesus and encounter Him everyday

Release Young People to discover their full potential in Christ

Obedient and faithful to God as He is faithful to us

Witness God’s love to others

We do this by exploring issues of justice in which we express Jesus’ care for the poor the broken, the marginalised and the dispossessed.

With that in mind we support the following charities:

‘’Compassion works through local churches in poor communities around the world to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name.’’

As part of our Youth Cell we sponsor Francis who lives in Uganda.  He is one of 7 children, having 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Our sponsorship allows Compassion to provide Francis with Bible teaching, health monitoring, games, income generating activities and academic support.  The centre also provides health education and literacy programmes for the parents of Francis.

Hope for Justice

In our youth programme we might discuss issues of why people are trafficked and what is being done to stop this trade.

‘Millions of men, women and children are trapped in slavery.  Through our programs we secure freedom, uphold justice and restore lives.  Join us and be the difference between freedom and slavery.’

Open Doors is an organisation that supports those persecuted for their faith around the world.  In our small group activities we consider the issues related to the persecution of Christians and how we can add our voice in supporting them.

Tearfund work around the world where help is needed the most and as a group we like to look at what we can do individually and as a group to support the work of such charity organisations.

‘A Christian charity passionate about ending poverty.’

Social Events

Once a month we enjoy a social activity where we can get to know one another better and enjoy a range of activities and events.  This is a time of fun, fellowship and food when our Young People can invite their friends and share in our community life.

Please keep an eye out for our social events coming up.

Soul Survivor

This is an annual Christian festival at Shepton Mallet at which thousands of Young People camp and enjoy vibrant worship, inspirational and relevant Bible teaching and lots of fun activities together

Residential Trips

This is an opportunity for our Young People to build strong foundations in their friendship groups to equip them with a support network which we pray will encourage them in their walk with Jesus.  This is done by taking part in fun filled activities and team building exercises.
