what's on

There are a number of different activities taking place at Holy Trinity during the week. We'd like to draw your attention to some of these.

Smarties Toddler Group

Meets once a week on a Thursday from 10:15 - 11:45am in Room 4 of our Church Hall (term-time).

A toddler group catering from the youngest baby to the pre-school child. There is lots of space, loads of toys, action songs and a place for parents and carers to come and relax and have a warm welcome and there is even free tea and biscuits!

A women's group held in the Church Hall on Monday mornings.  Come and meet for worship, friendship, spiritual input and prayer every Monday during term time in Room 2 of the Church Hall (doors open 9.10am and we start at 9.30am-11.00am).

(Creche provided for pre-school children).  If you would like to be involved in this ministry as a helper in creche, please do speak to Julie Pinder.

Trinity Tigers Football Team

Meet as regularly as we can to play & practise, normally on a Saturday morning.

The church football team consists of loads of enthusiasm and mixed talent(!), although there have been successes in the last few years, achieving a place in the final of the Churches League Cup. New talent always wanted!!

Focus on Men

As well as football, the men from Holy Trinity take part in many other social activities together.

These are always a good way of having fun and getting to know one another better. Previous events have included a skittles evening, karting, laser quest, a Saturday morning breakfast with invited speaker and a walking weekend away.

Care for the Elderly

At Holy Trinity we seek to care for the elderly in our congregation and in the wider community.

A Care for the Elderly Team coordinates this ministry and provides home visits to those known to us to be in need, monthly services on a Sunday afternoon ("Sunday at 3", usually at 3pm on the third Sunday of the month) and occasional parties and outings.  Holy Trinity also provides a coffee morning each Wednesday, in the hall, monthly services of Holy Communion in residential care and sheltered homes and weekly services in the Tewkesbury Day Centre.  The contacts for the Care for the Elderly Team are James & Lorna McMullen.

Music and Movement

If you are over 60 and would like to join us for this gentle movement class then please do just drop in. We meet in Room 2 of the Church Hall every Tuesday from 10.30-11.30am and you would be made very welcome!

Wednesday Morning Coffee

Refreshments are served in the Church Hall every Wednesday from 10 -11.30am to coincide with the Wednesday market.

This is a great opportunity to meet up with old friends and make some new ones.

Wednesday Holy Communion Service

All are welcome to this short traditional service which takes place in the Church Hall at 10.30am each Wednesday.

Outlook is part of a national organisation that seeks to connect with the over 55s.

Our aim is to let them know how much Jesus loves them. Tewkesbury Outlook is ecumenical and includes members from a number of different churches. Outlook holds services in sheltered housing complexes in Tewkesbury three times a year.

Churches Together in Tewkesbury

All the churches meet together at various times throughout the year, normally at a Sunday evening service to pray and worship God. It’s a time of unity with the sole aim of serving our wider community. The Ministers also meet regularly together for mutual support & discussion.

Please contact the church office if you would like more details.

Alpha Course

Starting each week  with an evening meal and drinks, the Alpha course is a series of interactive sessions which explores the basics of the Christian faith.

We run these once or twice each year. For further information or to book your place on the next course please contact the Church Office.
